A learning event: young people leaving, losing or changing faith

Resonant Collaboration is hosting a one-day learning event about working with young people (teens to mid-twenties) who are leaving, losing, or changing faith. Read our article about this topic.

The day brings together young researchers from Birmingham, youth, community and safeguarding practitioners and researchers, faith and community leaders, and specialist support organisations to explore what joined-up support can look like across settings, including for young people once they reach the age of 18.

Participating contributors include:

  • Young community researchers from Birmingham's Volunteering for Health.

  • Canon Dr Andrew Smith, Director of Interfaith Relations for the Bishop of Birmingham.

  • Luke Billingham, youth worker and researcher, Hackney Quest and Open University.

  • Global Centre for Contextual Safeguarding, University of Durham.

  • Humanists UK: Faith to Faithless.

  • More specialist contributors to be confirmed soon…

Refreshments and lunch provided.

Time for networking: 09:15 to 10:00 and 15:30 to 16:00.
