Resonant Collaboration projects

  • Creating safety with young people leaving, losing or changing faith

A project about creating safety with young people who are leaving, losing or changing faith. This work is bringing together research, practice and lived experience, working with national, regional and local partners to develop practice principles.

We are convening a learning event in Birmingham in Summer 2026 to grow our collective knowledge about this topic, reflect on practice and create helpful guidance for everyone.

  • On professional love in youth safeguarding: curating resonant spaces for care

Exploring the nuances of professional love within youth safeguarding, social care, education, and related professions, this project seeks to understand how to cultivate authentic relationships with young people amidst today’s structural challenges.

A group of researchers and practitioners have been collaborating on this project throughout 2025, and we have some exciting announcements for 2026!

  • Investigating Human Learning Systems & Transitional Safeguarding

At Resonant Collaboration, we believe in a human-centred, adaptive, and collaborative approach grounded in relational practice and learning. This project is exploring how the Human Learning Systems paradigm can help us to create welfare with young adults.

City of Doncaster will be the first place to test the Human Learning Systems approach to laying the foundations for Transitional Safeguarding. More local places to announce very soon!
